Li Peng, a native of Chengdu, Sichuan, was raised by Zhou Enlai after losing his father. He studied electrical engineering in the Soviet Union and served as China's Premier from 1983 to 1998, leaving a profound impact by leading the Three Gorges Dam and nuclear power projects. His father, Li Shuoxun, was an early leader of the Chinese Communist Party who sacrificed his life for the cause, leaving Li Peng to be nurtured by his mother, Zhao Juntao. Li Peng and his wife Zhu Lin had three children: their eldest son, Li Xiaopeng, a former chairman of Huaneng Group and now Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Economic Committee; their daughter, Li Xiaolin, known as the "Electricity Queen of China"; and their youngest son, Li Xiaoyong, who married into the family of Ye Ting, a prominent revolutionary figure. The family has had a profound influence in both political and business spheres.
Li Peng
Li Peng was a Chinese politician who served as the 4th premier of China from 1987 to 1998, and as the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, China's top legislative body, from 1998 to 2003. For much of the 1990s Li was ranked second in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hierarchy behind then CCP General Secretary Jiang Zemin. He retained his seat on the CCP Politburo Standing Committee until his retirement in 2002.
Ye Ting
Ye Ting was a Chinese military officer and figure who played a key role in the Northern Expedition to reunify China after the 1911 Revolution. After serving with the Kuomintang, Ye later joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Li Shuoxun was a Chinese communist revolutionary and martyr.
Ye Zhengda
Ye Zhengda was a Chinese aircraft designer and lieutenant general of the People's Liberation Army Air Force. He was also an adjunct professor and senior engineer at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He was a member of the 10th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party and a delegate to the 5th National People's Congress.

Zhu Lin is a retired Chinese politician and economist, and the widow of former Chinese Premier Li Peng.

Li Yuanchao
Li Yuanchao is a retired Chinese politician. He was the Vice President of China from 2013 to 2018 and the Honorary President of the Red Cross Society of China. He was a member of the Secretariat of the Chinese Communist Party and head of its Organization Department between 2007 and 2012. From 2002 to 2007, Li served as the Chinese Communist Party Secretary of Jiangsu, the top leader of an area of significant economic development. Between 2007 and 2017, he held a seat for two terms on the Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party.
Li Xiaopeng
Li Xiaopeng is a Chinese businessman and politician, who is serving as the Minister of Transport. He is the former chief executive of China Huaneng Group, a power generation company. He was also Governor of Shanxi between 2012 and 2016. As the son of former Chinese Premier Li Peng, he is a prominent member of the faction known in Chinese politics as the princelings.
Li Xiaolin
Li Xiaolin is a Chinese businesswoman, currently serving as vice-president of the China Datang Corporation, a state-owned power generation enterprise. She is the former CEO of China Power International Development. She is the only daughter of former Chinese Premier Li Peng and his wife Zhu Lin. She was trained as a power generation engineer at Tsinghua University.
